About Me
I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to build a career by doing what I love. Since I can remember, I've been infatuated with words. I love the way they are used to teach, inspire, create happiness, and spur individuals into action.
I've always been a writer, ever since I was crafting short stories in elementary school and reading Stephen King in class when I should have been paying attention. Fast forward to my years as a reporter at a small newspaper in Virginia where I covered education, crime, courts, and general news. I also served as the Lifestyles editor, designing pages, editing and writing stories about small-town life, and creating daily content.
I eventually transitioned to the world of marketing, where I currently write internal and external communication and serve as the editor of a regional health magazine.

lf I'm not reading, writing or editing, I'm navigating parenthood and enjoying time with my family.
